Navigational-Training Complex
 On November 22, 2002 Kherson branch of Institute of post-graduate education "Odessa maritime Training center" introduced navigational-training complex. This event is one of the steps in modernization of the educational facilities and also caused by the great demand of qualified and skilled marine specialists in the world market of labour.
The training complex includes 6 GMDSS TGS simulators, 2 navigation bridges with three-channel and one-channel visualization, which provides the greatest reality of the training sailing and also training class ARPAs for 6 working places. The complex is multifunctional anddetermined todrill ship's handling operations and maneuvering of the vessels of different types - from tugs to large tankers.
 The process of training marine specialists is carried out in compliancewith the requirements of the International Convention STCW 78/95, Resolutions IMO and shipowners' demands.
The complex is fully complied with the international requirements as for the training and education of marine specialists. Simulators are approved and certified by the Department of Sea transport of Russia, Maritime Coastguard Agency and some other marine organizations.
 In 2006 was held renovation of navigational training machine apparatus NT PRO 4000. Renovation includes improvement of visual channels, which helps to increase reality of solved problem, addition of new equipment, which is usedon ships nowadays, also setting up of additional visual channel.
On the 14th of October 2006 in Odessa Maritime Training Centre, Kherson branch was held an openning of training apparatus ERS 4000 "Engine deck". Engine deck class A1 includes systems existing on real vessels.
 Training apparatus "Ship Power Supply Unit" was designed for teaching and acquiring skills in watchkeeping in engine deck and on the main post for conducting a modern vessel also for checking the level of knowledge of ship's engineers, including Second Engineers and Chief Engineers. Training machine was designed according to requirements of STCW'95 Convention and a Modelling courses 2.07, 7.02, 7.04 IMO. Training machine provides conducting of teaching and training processes on expluatation, conducting and supporting processes.
Renovation of navigational and training machine and creation of training apparatus "Ship's Power Supply Unit" allowed to complete works in creation of "Virtual Vessel" project, which permits using of Navigational-Power Supply Vessel training machine as a whole vessel.
